What is the difference between a library catalog (OneSearch) and a database?

he library catalog or OneSearch is great for finding books, videos, and journals that the library owns. But, it does not show you the individual articles inside those journals. To find those, you need to use a library database, which are available through our A to Z (alphabetical) list.
